1. Introduction

Welcome to Guanacaste Property Media. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms govern the provision of professional property photography services throughout Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a photography session with Guanacaste Property Media. These terms explain our booking process, payment policies, cancellation rules, image usage rights, and other important information regarding our services.

2. Services

Guanacaste Property Media provides professional photography services including, but not limited to:

  • Vacation rental photography

  • Real estate photography

  • Land and development photography

All services are provided according to the agreed package, quotation, or written agreement with the client.

3. Bookings & Payments

All photography sessions must be booked through our online booking system or by written agreement.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve and confirm your appointment.

A booking is only considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

Prices shown on the website are subject to change without prior notice; however, the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Client Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule their photography session free of charge by providing at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment. Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability.

Client Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, including no-shows, are non-refundable.

Weather & Force Majeure

Guanacaste Property Media reserves the right to reschedule a photography session due to unfavorable weather conditions, unsafe drone flying conditions, natural events, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, the client may reschedule the session at no additional cost.

5. Property Preparation & Access

The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is clean, prepared, and accessible at the scheduled time.

The photographer is not responsible for cleaning, organizing, moving personal belongings, or staging the property.

If the property is not ready or access cannot be provided at the scheduled time, Guanacaste Property Media reserves the right to:

  • Reduce the photography coverage to fit the remaining time;

  • Charge additional fees for extended waiting time or a return visit; or

  • Consider the session completed in cases where photography cannot reasonably proceed.

6. Photography Session & Artistic Style

Guanacaste Property Media will photograph the property using professional judgment regarding composition, lighting, camera angles, and image selection.

The final number of delivered images may vary slightly depending on the property and conditions, but will generally correspond with the selected package.

The photographer reserves the right to determine which images are delivered.

7. Editing & Image Delivery

All delivered images are professionally edited to match the Guanacaste Property Media style, including adjustments to exposure, color, contrast, and basic image corrections.

Images are typically delivered within 48 hours after the photography session unless otherwise agreed.

Final images are delivered digitally through a download link.

RAW or unedited image files are not included.

8. Copyright & Image Usage Rights

All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of Guanacaste Property Media.

Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the delivered images for marketing and promoting the photographed property, including:

  • Property listing websites;

  • Airbnb, VRBO, and similar platforms;

  • Real estate websites;

  • Personal websites;

  • Social media;

  • Printed marketing materials related to the property.

Images may not be sold, transferred, licensed, or provided to unrelated third parties without written permission.

Real estate agents, property managers, and rental platforms directly involved in promoting the photographed property may use the images.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Guanacaste Property Media reserves the right to use photographs for its website, portfolio, social media, advertising, and other promotional purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to produce high-quality professional images, Guanacaste Property Media cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including increased bookings, rental income, property sales, or marketing performance.

The maximum liability of Guanacaste Property Media for any claim arising from the services provided shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the photography session.

Information, package descriptions, availability, and pricing on this website are provided for general information and may be updated or changed at any time.
